On the south
of Istra is situated 3000 years old city of Pula. It is
rich with many archeological sites and monuments from
many different cultures, especially Roman. The most
famous among them is Arena, a Roman amphitheatr from 1st
century B.C.From Austro-Hungaric time Pula has many
residential villas. To Pula you can arrive by: ship,
bus, plane and train. Turistic areas of Pula are:
Verudela, zlatne Stijene, Valkane and Stoja. Each of
them has pebbly and rocky baeches. In the circle of 200
m there are more restaurants and a supermarket. From
Pula you can go to the National Park of Brijuni and
Protected park of nature Kamenjak.You can go on the
trips to Porec and Rovinj distance from Pula 30-40 km.
With ferry from Brestova (30 km distance) you can go to
the islands Cres and Losinj.Middle age churches and
